In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.

The mission concentrates on "bizarre trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Changes

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
